OMG! I am sending my best thoughts and prayers for her. Please, please, please let us know how she and Paul and Batman are doing!

Oh, no! I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for the best for Julie & family.

all my thoughts and hopes will be checking..

Julie, my thoughts are with you and Batman. I had one of the most severe cases of HELLP you can get (my liver ruptured, i had 2 surgeries in addition to my c-section; I needed more than 25 pints of blood, and the worst -- i didn't see my baby for almost a week while i was in the ICU). Two and half years later, my daughter and I are happy and healthy. I know you will be, too.

OMG- I saw your most recent post and know everything is okay, but this brought tears to my eyes!!! I'm so glad little Batman is doing okay... And so glad Julie is too...

Ok, just for the record, I noticed this in the reading:

"The pathogenesis of HELLP syndrome is not well understood.....To date, no common precipitating factor has been found."

Well, that just about sums up all the crappy stuff that Julie has had to go through this pregnancy, don't you think?

Will be thinking about Julie as she recovers from her c-section, and hoping that it is uneventful (& um, world if you are listening, I think you could leave Julie alone now and let her be done with the crappy stuff she's been through in this pregnancy, k?) and she is home with Batman & Paul soon.

Holy Crap! Should've kept reading!

"HELLP syndrome occurs in approximately 0.2 to 0.6 percent of all pregnancies. In comparison, preeclampsia occurs in 5 to 7 percent of pregnancies."

Just like Julie to wind up with something like this.

Damn, that is effing unbelievable.

had i not seen your followup post, i'd be panicking right now. as it is, i'm relieved. thank you so much for passing the news along!

I'm glad I already know she & Bat are ok (good thing I didn't read any blogs this weekend)
Thanks for letting us know
